Paleo Taco Burgers

We love tacos, we love burgers, and now we love taco burgers LOL. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this recipe. As I was making our weekly meal plan, and each week we make burgers, I thought, what have we never done, never thought of. And it hit me. Taco Burgers. I honestly cant explain how delicious this burger is. When I took my first bite it was like fire works shooting off in the background. So of course, I share :)

First I prepped the Pico de Gallo

1 Large Tomato
1/2 Large onion or 1 med/small onion
1 Jalapeno (I didn't on mine but normally do)
Small handful of Cilantro
Juice of 1 Lime (small)

I then diced the tomato, onion, jalapeƱo, and finely chopped the
Cilantro. Mixed together in a bowl and squeezed the lime juice over then
hand mixed again.

Then in my processor is used 2 Avocadoes and just blended until soft, nothing else needed

Now when I think taco, or Mexican food I think adobo seasoning. But I really wanted to create this whole thing and decided to create my own attempt. But if you prefer  Adobo that's fine too.

For the burgers

1lb Grass Fed Ground Beef, or beef of choice
1/2 TBS Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/8 tsp Turmeric

You might think its a lot of salt but it mixes and blends wonderfully. Also the Turmeric is there because honestly its such a great spice and has many healing qualities why not throw it in there.

So I mixed and mashed the ground beef well and divided into 3 patties, you can divide however you like to make bigger or smaller patties (I got the runt)

And the Sweet Potato

1/2 large sweet potato, spiraled
Bacon Grease

I just coated my pan with the bacon grease and placed spiraled sweet potato in the pan on Med-Low heat and placed a lid over it and steam cooked until soft. I used the smaller adapter on my zoodle maker thingy ( LOL )to help cook the potatoes faster.

After that I then added a little more bacon grease and cooked my patties covered as well. I cooked mine in groups of 3 min on each side until there were as rare as I wanted them. Then as always I stacked these babies up! I was amazed at how the avocado needed no extra seasoning everything blended so well together! I'm a very proud cook right now :)
